Durham City Under-13 and Under-17 teams both won away to Catterick, the under-13s by 6-2 and the under-17s 10-6.
For the Under-13 game, City fielded an untried team who had never previously played a competitive game. However, the players responded well and won the game with their overall swimming ability.
The game was played with tremendous spirit and excitement, and both teams had a thoroughly enjoyable encounter.

The Under-17 encounter started off as a tight game and after the first two quarters the score was tied at 4-4. In the last two quarters City drew away to win. Again, Durham's superior swimming ability was evident, and their team work was excellent.
