A NORTH-EAST law firm is restructuring to create two new practices.
Jacksons Solicitors, which has offices in Stockton, Gateshead and Leeds, hopes to add to its 130-strong staff.
Bosses decided that their two core areas of business, insurance and commercial/private client, should separate.
It is hoped the decision to separate the practices will allow them to grow in their respective market places.
Jacksons' managing partner, Richard Clarke, said: "The benefit to the firm and our clients will be a more focused, efficient and dynamic environment in which to develop each practice in their respective market places.
"The two new practices will continue to work from the same building. Key support systems and resources will continue to be shared by the two practices. The restructuring will enable both practices to improve efficiency and become more responsive and dynamic."
