Darlington, Active, Independent, Staying Young (Daisy) offers the chance to meet people and develop skills.
Events run until October and include jewellery-making, computing, keep-fit, teddy bear-making, music, family history research and advice sessions on council benefits and health.
The activities are held at sheltered housing schemes and anyone wanting to take part is advised to book early on (01325) 388508.
Daisy Day 2003 on Friday, June 6, in Darlington Market Square, will offer live music.
