THE following cases were considered by South Durham Magistrates in Bishop Auckland yesterday:
CHARGE DENIED: Anthony Etherington, 37, of Crawford Close, Bishop Auckland, denied failing to supply a specimen of blood and behaving in a violent manner at Bishop Auckland police station. The case was adjourned to June 25.
CASE ADJOURNED: Karl Ian Eley, 22, of Brendon Crescent, Billingham, is accused of drink-driving and driving with no insurance in Barnard Castle. He entered no plea and the case was adjourned to Bishop Auckland Magistrates Court on June 4.
OFFENCE ADMITTED: David Neil Ferguson, 28, of Front Street, Sunniside, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Crook Market Place. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 from a previous binding over charge and £55 costs.
