GAMES of yesteryear will help entertain visitors to a medieval manor house next week.
Crook Hall, off Frankland Lane, Sidegate, Durham, is inviting children to try some of the pastimes that amused former generations.
Playing in the Past will feature hopscotch, hoops, quoits, yo-yos and many other former playground favourites, from Sunday to Friday, May 30.
Crook Hall is open from 1pm to 5pm daily, except on Saturdays, during the school half-term holiday.
Admission costs £4 for adults, £3.50 for concessions and £11.50 for a family ticket.
Further details are available on 0191-384 8028.
