TALENT CLUB: Genius Entertainment is presenting the semi-finals of the Talent Star live auditions at 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, next week, in the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley.
ARNSIDE WALKS: N Colwell and K Reavley will be leading two walks near Arnside for the Consett and Vale of Derwent Naturalists Field Club on Saturday, May 31. The bus will be leaving Annfield Plain at 8pm with other pick up points later. Places must be booked on (01207) 508774.
PUPPET DISPLAY: When Puppets Ruled the World is an exhibition being staged by the Gobby Base Puppet Club from Monday, June 2 to Monday, June 30 in the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley.
IRISH NIGHT: The Empire at Consett is presenting The Fureys and Davey Arthur at 7.30pm on Friday, May 30 with tickets at £10.
CHILD PLAY: I Luv You, Jimmy Spud is staged by Cap A Pie and Restore at 6.30pm next Thursday and 8pm next Friday, in the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley, with the Ash Girl presented at 8pm on Thursday, and 6.30pm next Friday.
EVENTS AT DELVES: The Delves Lane Village hall is holding enrolment sessions for its courses starting in June from 10am until noon and between 5pm to 7pm next Wednesday. An Indian Head Massage session will be held by Meet and Greet from 1pm to 3pm next Thursday, in the hall. The hall will hold a housing surgery from 9.45am to 10.45am next Thursday.
MUSIC CLUB: Derwentside Accordion Club will be entertained by Bon Accord from Canonbie at 7.45pm next Thursday, in Castleside WMC.
FOLK NIGHT: Handplucked is being staged by Folkworks at 7.30pm on Monday, June 2 in the Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley. Tickets are £8.
