HOLIDAYMAKERS have been asked to help find a missing man who police believe may be on the east coast.
Concern is growing for 23-year-old Shane Cheetham, of Rawmarsh, South Yorkshire, who has not been seen by his family for more than a week.
While it is not the first time he has gone missing, Mr Cheetham has health problems and police are keen to hear from him so they can be sure he is safe and well.
Mr Cheetham is known to enjoy visiting the coast and officers hope anyone visiting seaside resorts this weekend will look out for him.
He is a 6ft, broad, and has blue eyes and brown hair cut in a basin style.
Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on (0114) 2202020.
