ASPIRING opera singers are to be given the opportunity to sing with a professional.
Internationally-renowned singer Suzannah Clarke is to hold a master-class for the public on Thursday, from 6pm to 8pm, in the main hall at Darlington College of Technology.
The Middlesbrough-born star has recently returned from a successful trip to South East Asia where she won a gold medal at the North Korean Friendship Festival.
She has just begun working with the college students, passing on her knowledge to young hopefuls and is now offering the public the same opportunity.
"I am keen to work in the area. I love putting anything I can back into the community," she said.
Anyone interested in taking part in the class is asked to contact head of media and the arts, Tony Metcalf, on (01325) 503270.
