BRIGHT eyes and a waggy tail is all that is needed for the county's best loved pets to enter this year's Richmond Dog Show.
Kiplin Hall, near Scorton, is holding a show with a difference in its beautiful walled gardens on Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm.
Pets with all kinds of wonderful talents are welcome to enter the competition.
Classes include the fastest sausage-eater in the area and the canine that looks most like its owner.
The event, being staged as part of the Herriot Happening Week, will have eight categories for dogs to enter.
Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for children and 20p per dog per competition category.
