An exhibition of the work of one of children's literature's most popular picture book creators, Pat Hutchins, called Over the Hills and Far Away, is on at Gateshead's Shipley Art Gallery, until June 8.
It features the unpublished story which led to the making of Rosie's Walk, as well as examples of the finished artwork. The gallery is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and 2pm to 5pm on Sundays. Admission is free.
