A GRANDMOTHER is planning to share more than £26,000 with her family after winning at bingo.
The 59-year-old, who has asked not to be named, has been playing for 40 years and visits the Mecca club in Chandler's Wharf, Stockton, twice a week.
On Saturday she won the National Bingo Game prize of £25,000, a regional prize of £1,154 and the house prize of £243.
The national prize was £50,000 but she had to share with a player from Cardiff who also completed a full house in 44 numbers.
"I haven't come back down to Earth yet. I have never had such as big win before," the lucky winner said.
"My daughter is over the moon, she lives in Middlesbrough and has got three children."
The woman also has a son with two children. Her first thought on how to spend her winnings was on a holiday.
