STUDENTS who were taking courses at a community training centre which has closed, will be sent letters explaining how they can continue their studies.
Late last week, the Richard Hind Centre, in Stockton, went into administration, with the loss of ten jobs.
The centre was home to a number of community colleges run in conjunction with Stockton Riverside College.
The college, which enrolled more than 500 students each year at the centre, hopes to continue with the service as soon as possible.
Both management and staff at the college will be writing to students at the Richard Hind Centre to outline arrangements for the continuation of studies.
There are also around 100 students enrolled on taster sessions at the centre, which were due to begin next week, and every attempt is being made to contact them.
However, in some cases students may not have forwarded their full details and anyone who has any queries is advised to call the Information and Guidance Hotline on 01642 865566
