PUPILS from a Stockton school will take part in a fancy dress parade.
On Thursday, June 12, the youngsters from Holy Trinity School will be joined by pupils at Rosehill Infant School, as they take part in the parade to show how walking to school can be fun.
The event is part of the annual Leg-It Day, organised by local authorities and transport groups throughout the region.
Pupils, teachers and parents from Holy Trinity School have been working with Stockton Borough Council.
Through their school council, the pupils have helped to design maps for walking routes.
George Callaghan, from the council, said: "As always, it is the children who are most enthusiastic about change.
"They genuinely prefer walking to school with their friends and they care about the issues behind the campaign."
