A FIVE-YEAR-OLD child is in hospital after being knocked down by an off-road motorbike.
The youngsters was crossing Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough at around 7.30pm on Wednesday when he was hit by the bike, which then left the scene.
The boy was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital where he was treated for observation only for a minor injury to his head.
The bike is believed to be a dark blue or black Honda and had two riders, possibly aged 15 and 16.
