A 'VIRTUAL village' is to appear in Chester-le-Street for a day, when people can wander around a sustainable garden and take part in demonstrations.
The village will be created at Chester-le-Street Riverside on Sunday, June 22, in and around a number of marquees.
Amongst the interactive displays will be a sustainable garden, a village shop selling Fair Trade goods, walks around wildlife sites and a virtual home, complete with a sustainable kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
People wishing to get involved in the event, organised by local councils and Groundwork West Durham, can contact Claire Fairclough on 0191-3833043.
