SECONDARY school pupils from Stockton have taken part in a roadshow highlighting the dangers of alcohol.
Year eight pupils at Grangefield School were visited by Stockton's Healthy School Programme team to pilot the roadshow, called Drinkweiser.
It aimed to inform pupils of the effects of alcohol on their body, and teach them how to live a healthier lifestyle.
The pupils were divided into groups and took part in interactive education programmes. They were given questionnaires to complete, as well as an evaluation form to hand in at the end of the day.
Each pupil was also given a newsletter and a comic called Alcohol News, which contained information and statistics on alcohol and its effects on drinkers and those around them.
