TICKETS are selling well for Chester-le-Street's first-ever Test match.
Seats for next Saturday's session, which organisers have named Fancy Dress Day, are virtually sold out.
The ground will be capable of holding more than 12,000 fans.
Ticket sales for days one and two, Thursday and Friday, June 5 and 6, have also been strong, and despite the first Test at Lord's being over in three days, a number of places have already sold for the Sunday.
Andrew Jarvis, of the club's marketing and communications department, said: "It's looking very much like a full house on the Saturday and we're not that far off for the Thursday and Friday."
Tickets are £25 per day for adults for each of the first four days and £10 for under-16s for each of the first three days, with a £5 offer on the Sunday.
Book via the box office on (0191) 387 5151 (9am to 8pm) or on Ticketmaster's 24-hour hotline on 0870 909 0190.
