VOLUNTEER drivers are needed to help with car and minibus runs on behalf of a hospice charity serving the Durham area.
Amy Farquhar, the new volunteer co-ordinator at St Cuthbert's Hospice, said car drivers are required to lend a hand on Wednesdays and voluntary minibus drivers are needed on Thursdays to transport hospice users to and from the premises, at Merryoaks, on the outskirts of Durham.
The hospice is also recruiting kitchen helpers, plus volunteers to staff three of its charity shops, in Langley Park, Langley Moor and Chester-le-Street.
Anyone willing to give up some time for a worthy cause is asked to contact Amy, on 0191-386 1170.
