Darlington was the subject of light-hearted banter yesterday as a comedy show was broadcast from the town's theatre.
Former Goodies Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor, along with Barry Cryer and Tony Hawkes, recorded their latest edition of Radio 4 show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, at Darlington Civic Theatre on Sunday, May 11.
The comedy quiz show, which is more than 30 years old and attracts more than two million listeners, was recorded in front of a live studio audience at the theatre.
Panelists and the audience heard the history of Darlington as the birthplace of the railway and about St Cuthbert's Church as the show was introduced.
The programme is aired on Monday evenings and repeated on Sunday afternoons.
