A MODEL flying club is holding an air display later in the summer.
Fields near Redmarshall, Stockton, will be the venue for Teesside Model Flying Club's event on Sunday, July 6.
As well as flying displays by dozens of modellers, there will also be a competition for model planes to emulate the acrobatics of full-size aircraft.
The event, which will feature models up to a third the size of planes, is designed to raise money for the club to buy seven acres of land.
If the day-long display proves a success, the club hopes to make it an annual event.
As well as the displays, visitors will be able to enjoy a bouncy castle, fairground rides and stands by The British Model Flying Association and Teesside Air Ambulance.
