KEEN walkers are lookingforward to converging on Wensleydale in North Yorkshire for the annual Boots and Beer Walking Festival later this year.
The festival caters for a wide range of fitness and experience levels, ranging from gentle strolls to strenuous treks, through some of the most stunning parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The event is organised by walking specialists Brasher and the Black Sheep Brewery, Paul Theakston's independent brewery which is based at Masham in Lower Wensleydale.
The walking weekend takes place on September 12 and 14, and a £30 ticket includes a special Boots and Beer Bash with live entertainment, supper, locally brewed Black Sheep ale, and a charity auction.
