Urlay Nook ascended to the top of the league this week with a comprehensive home win 177 to 134 over the Leagues basement team, Hardwick Hall.
Top gun for Urlay Nook was Gary Hanrahan with a 24. Paul Clapham, Frazer Jemmeson and Michael Brown each high scored 19 for Hardwick Hall.
With Stokesley having a bye this week and dropping to second place, Thimbleby crept upto third place with nearly as good a performance than last week. This week they defeated Marne 191 to 181. A perfect score by Ray Spence for the home team, whilst Steve Masters also shot a full house for Marne. In the local dery, Oak Lodge moved upto 5th place with a 171 to 151 home win over Spennymoor. Great Smeaton had their second home win of the season with a narrow 180 to 176 scoreline over Fox Hall.
