YORKSHIRE Forward, the regional development agency, will showcase Engineering of the Future at the world's largest air show.
Paris will be the venue for the unveiling of a virtual tour of the agency's Advanced Manufacturing Park, which is expected to create 4,500 jobs and increase economic prosperity across the county.
Yorkshire Forward is investing £12m in developing the former Waverley site at Rotherham, South Yorkshire, in partnership with UK Coal, to attract research and development and manufacturers, to form a hub for advanced engineering and metals operations.
The Paris Air Show, which attracts more than 500,000 visitors from around the world with business deals topping £40bn, begins on Saturday, June 14.
Visitors to the show will be invited to wear 3-D goggles to enjoy a virtual fly through the 40-hectare site as it will look in five to six years' time.
