SIX months ago, 21-year-old Tanya Robinson led an ordinary life - now she has been voted one of the sexiest women in the world.

Following her success in FHM magazine's High Street Honeys modelling competition, Tanya, from Richmond, North Yorkshire, has been voted 38th in the magazine's "world's sexiest women" contest.

She made quite an impact at last week's FHM star-studded party, wearing a white bikini complete with dagger, in an attempt to emulate Ursula Andress in the James Bond classic Dr No.

Tanya, who briefly had Richmond pub The Fleece renamed to Tanya's Charms in her honour, has also been enjoying a glamourous lifestyle, jetting off around the world on work trips.

"Normally at this time of year I would be looking for the cheap holiday deals on the Internet, but everything has changed. I've already been to Miami, Jamaica and Gran Canaria this year, and I am going to Australia soon," she said.

The former phone company worker, who was nominated for the competition by her boyfriend, is now hoping for a career in television and film.

Her agent, Camilla Storey, of Big Management (UK), in London, said: "Tanya is working really hard at the moment and has already attended auditions for television programmes such as Hollyoaks and Brookside."
