HUNDREDS of bikers roared across the North-East at the weekend.
More than 200 Harley-Davison owners from the region met up with 420 fellow bikers from Norway at North Shields, North Tyneside, on Friday night.
The bikers then headed to a festival in York on Saturday, where they were joined by a further 100 Harley-Davison enthusiasts from Leeds.
Then yesterday, the North-East party stopped off at Hartlepool Historic Quay on their way home.
"It was a lovely, trouble-fee, fun event," said Paul Abbott, of Hartlepool. "There was about £8m worth of bike on show and at one point there was a five-mile convoy."
