A PILOT'S attempt to fly around the world in an autogyro next month has been postponed after he broke three ribs in an accident.
Warrant Officer Barry Jones, a helicopter pilot at Dishforth Airfield, North Yorkshire, crashed while training for the 80-day journey.
His autogyro needs extensive repair work and the date for the Global Eagle record bid has been put back to February next year.
