FLAGSHIP car company Ramseys of Newton Aycliffe has celebrated ten years in business.
Brothers Jeff and Ian Ramsey started the company in May 1993 after finding a prime location at Aycliffe Industrial Park.
The brothers are already looking forward to the next ten years in business and see a bright future for the company.
Sales director Jeff said: "The company has seen vast growth in the past few years.
"Reaching this landmark is a great achievement and testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff. We hope the next ten years will be just as good."
The company says its success is based on an ethos of professionalism with exceptional customer care and personal service.
Although growing as a business, the Ramseys are keen to keep personal service at the forefront of everything they do.
Proof of this commitment is demonstrated by the number of customers who come back time and time again to purchase cars.
One family are now on their 11th car, having bought their first one when the company started trading back in 1993.
The firm also offers the full range of garage services to support the sales side and is a registered Drive in Plus Autocentre.
Ramseys is receiving support from Business Link County Durham and is working with a professional marketing consultant.
Eddie Jonas, business improvement consultant at Business Link, said he was delighted to be working alongside the brothers and their staff.
He said: "Ramseys are a great example of how a small family business can grow into a professional and forward-thinking organisation with a very positive future.
"Business Link are pleased to offer support to help them move to the next stage in their business development.
"A marketing approach is essential in helping them reach their objectives, including securing more business from the commercial sector."
Ramseys sells a wide range of vehicles under five years of age and provides garage services including MoTs, servicing, tyres, exhausts, brakes and engine work.
