A PANTOMIME promoting food hygiene is being performed by local youngsters.
Pupils from Durham High School for Girls are staging the show at primary schools throughout the area after winning a competition set by Durham City Council's environmental health department.
They had to produce and perform a 15-minute pantomime with a food hygiene theme for five to 11-year-olds, and the Durham High School entrants named theirs Snow White and the Seven Germs.
The group won £250 for their school and the chance to perform their play in front of pupils at ten primary schools, throughout this week.
The winning pupils are; Sophie Cronin, Charlotte Donkin, Sophie Hutchins, Catherine Jones, Stephanie Morton, Sarah Porter, Ilar Shariatmadari, Charlotte Vallily, Sarah Cook, Sophie Daniels, Hannah Fulford, Marissa Granath, Emma Hall, Emily NcNamee, Katherine Purvis, Charlotte Williams and Victoria Sowerby.
