THE Government has confirmed it will provide cash to help meet expenses incurred after flooding in August.
The costs arose after the southern part of Scarborough Council's area was hit by a torrential downpour.
The council is expected to meet the first £33,000 of the cost of repairs to damage, with the Government paying for up to 85 per cent of the remaining cost.
