A CHOIR from Yarm will perform this weekend to raise funds for a radio station run by volunteers.
The Levendale Singers will perform at the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton, at 7pm on Saturday to help fund the refurbishment of the Radio North Tees studio.
Radio North Tees, which broadcasts to staff and patients around the clock, needs £40,000 to replace and update its equipment.
The Levendale Singers perform about eight concerts a year, raising more than £1000 annually for local charities.
Rob Govier, a volunteer at the radio station, said: "We are very grateful the Levendale Singers are giving their time to help us, and we hope that the community will show their support."
The performance will be held in the hospital's chapel. Tickets cost £3.00 and are available at the door.
