Church draw: Christ Church, Lumley, is staging a prize draw instead of a summer fair this year. It will be at 7pm on Monday, in the Old England. Tickets are 50p each and a pie and peas supper is included in the £1.50 entry charge.
Car wash: A fundraising car wash is being held by the Hermitage School from 10am to 1.30pm tomorrow, and from 10am to 2pm on Sunday. It costs £2 for a car and £3 for a van.
Craft fair: A craft fair and car boot sale is being held on Saturday, June 14, at Waldridge village hall. Admission is free. Tables and stalls are £5 each.
Dream outfits: Chester-le-Street Theatre Group is able to hire out costumes used in its productions. For details, call at the community centre, in Newcastle Bank.
Ladies' night: Lumley Ladies Football Club will hold their presentation night at 7.30pm tomorrow, in the Civic Centre.
On view: The Ladies' Circle of West Pelton Methodist Church is holding Crafts on View, from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday. Tickets are 50p.
Woodland stroll: A Footsteps to Fitness walk in three miles of woodland starts from Eden Place picnic area at 11am on Sunday, June 15.
Music night: The Gibside Singers appear at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 15, in St Joseph's RC Church. Tickets are £2.50.
Club news: Live entertainment is held on Saturdays in the Greenbank Club, with a quiz and bingo on Sundays.
Youth fair: Chester-le-Street Youth Centre's summer fair is from 10am to 3.30pm on Saturday, June 14.
Table-top sale: A table-top sale will be held in Birtley Methodist Church, from 9am to 4pm tomorrow.
