TWENTY-SIX people have so far been arrested as part of a crackdown on drug dealing in a coastal town.
Ten search warrants have been executed in Scarborough as part of a four-month campaign, codenamed Operation Dream.
Raids which took place this week were led by Detective Sergeant Heather Pearson, of the eastern area drug squad.
Of the 26 people arrested:
* Ten have been charged with offences relating to the supply of hard drugs;
* Three have been placed on a drug referral scheme;
* Two have appeared before Scarborough magistrates charged with court related matters;
* One has been charged with burglary and theft, and another is in custody on suspicion of burglary;
* Two remained in custody last night while police undertake identification procedures and another one is in custody on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
* Three were released on police bail and three have been released without charge.
