TWENTY-TWO girls from Teesside High School in Eaglescliffe are preparing for a three-week round-the-world hockey and netball tour.
Next month they will head to Singapore, Australia and Fiji. They will spend two days sightseeing in Singapore, followed by sporting events in Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney, Australia, before heading to Fiji and flying home via Los Angeles.
A spokesman for the school, said: "Needless to say, the girls are very excited about the tour and it is a great opportunity for them. By the time they come home they will have been right round the world, and the school is delighted to be involved in sports on an international level like this."
