A NORTH-EAST chartered accountant and business advisor is launching a systems support service.
Haines Watts, which has offices in Newcastle and Darlington, has recruited Les Day, a leading specialist in accounting and IT systems, to head up the new service.
The service will help companies across the region make the best use of their Sage accounting software.
It will involve training company staff, the preparation and analysis of regular management accounts and assistance in the selection and installation of software.
One of the first clients to sign up to the service is GlobalPoint Technologies, which is based at the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Tyneside.
GlobalPoint produces the world's smallest wireless satellite tracking device, which is used to track people and products around the world.
Mr Day said: "This new systems support service will meet the needs of growing businesses across the North-East."
