A CONCERT will take place at a Norton church tomorrow night
It will be the first time the choir and music group from St Mary's Church will have performed together, in a programme to include hymns and classical pieces. There will also be a jazz interlude.
The highest bidder for two auctioned hymns will have their choice sung.
Graham Austin, choirmaster of St. Mary's, said: "The choir and music group at St Mary's usually lead the singing for services and never get to sing to an audience.
"We thought it would be nice to use this opportunity to entertain, rather than lead, worship by singing some secular, along with sacred, music."
The event starts at 7.30pm and wine and cheese will be served in the interval. Tickets, which cost £1.50, will be sold on the evening.
