COACHES from Sunderland Football Club have been scouting for soccer talent in Bedale.
Forty youngsters took part in a two-day coaching course run by the club in conjunction with Bedale Leisure Centre.
It is the fifth year the club has ventured down the A1 to Bedale to run courses during school holidays.
This last set of sessions saw six children receive awards, although all the children were praised for doing exceptionally well.

Sunderland will be back in the summer to run sessions on July 28 and 29.
Details will be posted to everyone on the Sunderland AFC mailing list.
Leaflets will be available to collect from Bedale Leisure Centre in early July.
The club will also run similar coaching sessions in Northallerton - at the Hambleton Leisure Centre - on August 28 and 29.
