A PROJECT aimed at tackling vandalism and litter is looking for volunteers.
The Caretakers scheme, run by environmental group Groundwork West Durham, aims to clean up the Stanley Green Corridor, which takes in Craghead, New Kyo, South Moor, South Stanley and Quaking Houses.
Five caretakers, headed by Dave Stewart, will work with residents in badly hit areas.
The group is keen to hear suggestions for projects, and forms can be picked up from Craghead Village Hall, or Quaking Houses Community Centre.
To find out more about being a Caretaker, contact Brooke Hedley, on (01207) 693202.
