AN array of antique bottles went on display at an annual fair at the weekend.
The event, at Bowburn Community Centre, Durham, is the North-East's main opportunity for the public and collectors to see displays of Victorian and Edwardian bottles and associated collectables.
The event included mineral water, Seltzer, beer and poison bottles. There were also pot lids, pipes, whisky jugs and water jugs.
Now in its 29th year, the show remains as popular as ever, attracting enthusiasts and buyers from throughout the region.
As well as stalls and displays, the latest included competitions, a raffle and a grand charity auction in aid of the St Oswald's Hospice Jigsaw Appeal. Over the years, the fair has raised more than £1,500 for good causes.
