Week six: Stokesley continued their 100 per cent record with a marginal 181 to 180 away win at Hardwick Hall. Adam Wallace scored a perfect 25 for the away team whilst Michael Brown and Stuart Pheonix scored similarly for Hardwick Hall.
Urlay Nook slid down from championship leaders to second place as they narrowly lost 184 to 182 at Spennymoor. The Moors had an impressive turnout for the shoot and J Neave top scored with a 25 ex 25, whilst Paul Dowson had a perfect score for Urlay Nook.
Marne climbed to third in the championship gaining an away point at Fox Hall.
The scores were tied at 169. High Gun for Fox Hall was Trevor Hicks with 24, whilst Philip Masters scored a 23 for Marne.
Great Smeaton and Oak Lodge also gained one point each with a 176 draw.
Paul Foster scored a 24 for Great Smeaton and J Garside scored a 24 for Oak Lodge.
This Sunday, the first leg of the Interleague Challenge takes place at Rustan Quarry near Wykeham. The event starts at 11pm to 2pm. Directions are posted on www.shootingleague.co.uk . Best of luck to everyone taking part.
