Crook League: Crook Belle Vue Club extended their lead at the top of the First Division to five points after they only dropped two points to the visiting Crook Coach and Horses A.
The visitors only took one singles point when Brian Lee but they were able to add the doubles when Lee was joined by Eric Machin beat Roy Hoggarth and John Warriner. The Club's singles winners were Jack Walker, Ivor Phillipson, John Warriner, Roy Hoggarth, Dave Hakin and Arthur Hope.
Crook Royal Sun held on to their second place in the First Division with Crook Olde Horse Shoe B in third place a further seven points adrift.
Willington Brewer's Droop maintained their two points lead at the top of the Second Division when they beat the visiting Crook Spitfire Club. The visitors' points came with singles wins from Ronnie Rinaldi and Dianne Walker. The Brewer's had singles wins from Brett Fleming, Jimmy Fleming, Billy Wragg and Ian Stoker whilst Vince Conaty and Billy Wragg added the doubles.
Hunwick Club held their second place in the Second Division with a three points home win over Crook Jelly's Bar B, whilst Crook King's Head slipped three points behind Hunwick after going down by the odd point at Crook Surtees.

Tow Law and District League
Tow Law Dan's Castle B held on to the top spot when they only dropped one point to the visiting Sunniside Comedian. The home side had wins from Angela Suddes, Les Stevenson, Kelvin Vitty and David Murray with Morgan Errington taking the Comedian's lone point.
This victory for Dan's Castle B kept them one point ahead of Tow Law New Market A, who only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law Station. The Market had wins from Phil Spencer, Terry Taylor, Ian Turner and Dale Duxfield, whilst Christopher Reed took the only point for the Station.
The Captain's Table still has two unbeaten players. They are Billy Lyle of Tow law Football Club and Angela Suddes of Tow Law Dan's Castle B.
