Broughton and Kirby raced to the massive total of 302 without losing a wicket in 40 overs when they hosted Skelton Castle.
Jim Scott recorded no fewer than five sixes and 19 boundaries in an unbeaten 173 and Andrew Robinson also carried his bat with ten fours in 104.
When they replied Skelton Castle posted 133 for nine from 35 overs. Stainthorpe had a six and four fours making 33 and Pigg struck a six and eight boundaries contributing 51.
Roger Briddock had a good day with the ball for the home side and in nine overs, five of which were maidens, he conceded only 18 runs capturing three wickets. He received admirable support from Andrew Smith with three for 46 in 11 overs while Blaydon took one wicket and Harris two wickets.
Thimbleby had 53 runs in hand of Swainby after realising 160 for nine. Daniel opened the innings and scored 39 while Middlemass, who went in at number three, was on 43 when he was run out. Shinwell returned three for 71, Kerr had three for 50 and Hillary two for 39 in the home attack. When Swainby went in to bat opener Kerr made 33 and Shinwell 24, but the innings closed with only 107 runs on the board as Thompson claimed five wickets for a mere 26 runs. Allison, introduced as second change into the Thimbleby attack, picked up a couple of wickets while conceding just one run.
Although Ingleby Greenhow made a respectable 156 for eight, they went down by two wickets at home to Chopgate.
Little (22) and Jones with 28 both passed the 20 mark for Ingleby Greenhow who were assisted by no fewer than 28 extras. Stockton bowled a good end for Chopgate and his five wickets were taken at a cost of only 34 runs. Cook weighed in with figures of two for 65.
Replying Chopgate lost an early wicket, but Haltby found an able partner in Rose. The former contributed 42 and Rose made 30 before Brown carried his bat with a valuable 28 as Chopgate squeezed home having lost eight wickets, seven of them to Jones, for just 46 runs.
Scruton managed only 91 all out at Kirby Sigston who won by four wickets.
Batting first Scruton were indebted to Brass for his contribution of 44 and Norman added 22 but generally the batsmen were well contained by the three-man home attack.
Clarkson had four for 36, Cowton took four wickets for 26 runs and Rainer was also on the wickets returning two for 23.
When Kirby Sigston responded they lost early wickets before Day steadied the innings and remained undefeated with 35 out of a total of 92 for six. Barratt bowled unchanged taking four for 41 and Brass also bowled without a break claiming one wicket for 40 runs in the Scruton bowling line up.
Maltby enjoyed a ten wickets victory at home to Stafford Place despite being required to score 148 runs for victory. Morrow remained undefeated on 75 and Close also carried his bat making 63 out of a total of 152 for none.
When Stafford Place made first use of the wicket they were well served by opener Conner who scored 51 before being run out. Smith carried on the good work scoring 36 and a total of 147 for eight was posted. Hutchinson, with three for 56 and Barber who took three for 86, shared the wickets which fell to the bowlers.
Kildale made a healthy 185 for six before reducing Hutton Rudby to 121 all out. Blackett was in splendid form for Kildale and he was only five runs short of a century when he was caught. Peirson remained undefeated on 31 and in the Hutton Rudby attack the most successful bowler was Cook with three for 38. Jung picked up a couple of wickets at a cost of 42 runs.
When they replied Hutton Rudby conceded an early wicket before top scorer Patterson weighed in with 40 partnering Pugh in a second wicket stand. Pugh added 22 and Smith 21 but the innings eventually petered out to 121 and Kildale won comfortably.
Crathorne went down by seven wickets when they hosted East Harlsey. Batting first Crathorne were grateful that Samarage was in good form as he scored 53 out of a total of 136 for eight. Grainge claimed five of the wickets to fall for 40 runs and Willey had three for 55.
When they replied East Harlsey were given a good send off by Broadley and the opener finished undefeated on 55. Hunter contributed 20 and Hodgson snr 24 as victory was achieved for the loss of three wickets.
