The Halliday brothers Greg and Dean swept Lanchester to an emphatic 116 runs victory in the home game with Shotley Bridge.
Greg hit three sixes and eight boundaries carrying his bat for 92 and Dean had five fours contributing 34 as a total of 278 for two as posted.
When they went into bat Shotley Bridge managed only 62 and almost half the runs came from Barnes whose 30 included three boundaries.
Michael Quinn claimed three for 13 in five overs while both Ian Stewart and Simon Tweedie had two without cost for Lanchester.
Burnopfield were another side to win comfortably when they hosted Ryton. Faced with a target of 75, they conceded only two wickets as Marcus Peart ended undefeated on 47 finding the boundary line on nine occasions. Adam Tinnion gave support with 20 not out and he struck one four and two sixes while in the Ryton attack, Nixon took both wickets to fall for 29 runs in five overs.
When they went into bat first Ryton ended on 74 fort six which included 33 by Smith with two sixes and two boundaries. Stephen Allen returned three for 23 and Lawrence Davey two for two, the pair each bowling five overs.
Greenside were all out for just 29 at Sacriston who won losing just one wicket. Andrew Dixon was one of a number of players who performed well for Sacriston and he carried his bat for 21, with four boundaries, out of his team's total of 32 for one.
Earlier Dixon picked up three wickets for four runs in three overs while John Lee had four for four and Ian Nelson two for ten.
Lintz had 20 runs in hand of Whickham when brothers Andrew and Stephen Smith scored most of their side's total of 108 for four.
Andrew had seven boundaries in 47 and Stephen hit a couple of fours and one six making 40.
Responding, Whickham were restricted to 88 for seven which included 33 from Adam Ainley. He struck one six and two fours and in the Lintz attack non did better than Stephen Smith with three for four in five overs.
Crookhall ended in 83 on the board which included 37 from Daniel Stewart before Blaydon went on to win by seven wickets while Annfield Plain recorded a victory by a similar margin at Chopwell.
The home side made a reasonable 90 for three of which Adam Tams scored 49 before Chris Leathley ended 33 not out when Annfield Plain responded with 91 for three.
Ben Traviss scored 40 as Consett overtook the Swalwell total of 97 for four losing just one wicket.
