A FREE course on dealing with drug and alcohol abuse is being launched by the County Durham Drug Action Team.
The sessions are aimed primarily at people who have lived with someone who has had difficulties with drugs or alcohol and will result in a qualification from the North East Open College Network.
The ten-week course will look at attitudes to drugs and alcohol, dealing with conflict, legal rights of individuals and coping as a parent, and other issues including self-harm.
The sessions aim to help people understand their situation and give them a chance to put their experiences to good use by helping others.
Travel and childcare expenses can be arranged.
