TWO North Yorkshire churches used flower power to boost their coffers over the weekend.
St Michael's, in Malton, chose saints as a theme and St Mary's, at Haxby, was awash with colour as regular arrangers put their skills to work to help raise cash to pay for a refurbished church hall. Both flower festivals closed last night with special services.
