STUDENTS from a Darlington dance school were successful in recent examinations.

About 50 pupils from the Pam Tallentire Studio of Dance took International Dance Teachers' Association's tests on May 17.

The results were:

Junior freestyle one dance - Highly commended: Grace Airey, Emily Beattie, Lucy Beattie, Jodie Ford, Rachael Garner, Charlotte Hall, Hannah Lax and Nicola Lodge. Commended: Emily Gibson and Rebecca Shaw.

Junior freestyle bronze - Highly commended: Holly Armitstead, Jodie Louise Coad, Jade Fridd, Gemma Hallum, Kirstie Hoggett, Charlotte Johnson and Rebecca Richardson. Commended: Victoria Blewitt, Holly Ferguson, Sarah Walker and Emelia Rose Wojcik.

Junior freestyle silver - Highly commended: Becky Aitken, Aiasha Alexander-Smith, Abby Greaves, Louise Carter, Megan Robson and Bethany Malcolm. Honours: Katie Cleminson, Courtney McCabe and Amy Walton.

Junior freestyle gold - Highly commended: Jade Edwardson, Sara McCarroll and Sophie Emily Norman.

Junior freestyle 1st gold bar -Highly commended: Megan Armitstead, Jordan Haddick, Holly Hodgson and Katie Nelson. Honours: Charlene Wood.

Junior freestyle star one -Honours: Michaela Ward.

Junior freestyle star three - Highly commended: Carla Diaper. Honours: Rebecca King, Shannen McGee.

Junior freestyle star four - Honours: Chloe Malcolm and Ashleigh MacDonald.

Adult freestyle star five - Honours: Joanne Pattison.

Junior freestyle 2nd president's - Honours: Hayley Wyse and Hannah Webb.

Junior Latin American double bronze - Commended: Jordan Haddick.
