A TEENAGER who was left home alone when his parents went on holiday was arrested for a rape attack on a boy, a court was told yesterday.
A jury was told that Paul Thomas, 19, invited young people to come to his Teesside home to watch television, play on his computer and to snack on pizzas.
He also showed some of them a pornographic video and made it clear that he was gay, said Christine Egerton, prosecuting.
She alleged that Mr Thomas spiked the 14-year-old boy's cola and then sexually assaulted him when he fell asleep.
The boy told police that he woke in the house in Billingham, Teesside, to find Mr Thomas raping him, Teesside Crown Court was told.
Mr Thomas was arrested but denied anything had taken place, said Miss Egerton.
Mr Thomas, of East Avenue, Billingham, pleaded not guilty to rape on June 8, last year.
The case continues.
