A NORTH-EAST company specialising in project management and construction consultancy has been appointed to a scheme to recreate a Georgian landscape.
Faithful and Gould is working on a project for Durham County Council to obtain Heritage Lottery Funding for the revitalisation of Hardwick Park, near Sedgefield, County Durham.
The £4m scheme aims to restore the 18th Century parkland to its original state.
The firm is employed in a quantity surveying capacity on the project, which will include restoring a 17-acre lake, the Temple of Minerva, the tower of a Gothic ruin, the Gothic seat and circuit walk.
The firm has also been appointed by the University of Sunderland to undertake work on a £4m science park.
