CROSSBRED dogs have their day on Sunday when the National Canine Defence League's Rehoming Centre at Sadberge, hosts the regional heat of the Pal Scruffts Crossbreed Dog of the Year Competition.
Categories include the most handsome dog, the prettiest bitch and the child's best friend with the winners going on to a final in London later in the year.
To tie in with father's day there's a Dog Most Like Dad or Owner fun contest. Entry is £1 for each class and dogs must be over six months old and fully vaccinated. Owners can register their dogs for the classes on the day.
There will be rodeo rides, stalls, bouncy castle, organic farm fresh produce, an agility and obedience dog display, games and raffles.
Gates open from 11am to 4pm, with judging for the dog show from noon. Call (01325) 333114.
