ORGANISERS of this year's Great Aycliffe Show are appealing for entries for the craft competition.
Highlights of this year's event, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, include motorbike stunts, aeroplane acrobatics, pedigree rabbits and football competition.
One of the longest standing competitions is the craft exhibition. Show organiser Marie Robinson said: "Exhibits come from all ages and once people pluck up the courage to enter their work, they tend to keep on entering year after year.
"With 80 classes to choose from ranging from home baked scones, beer making to embroidery, art and photography there is a class for everyone to enter.
"Entry is free and there are small prizes and a trophy for the overall winner of each section."
