Construction and civil engineering group Carillion is celebrating after securing preferred bidder status for an £80m NHS contract.
The company is poised to sign a joint venture contract with development specialists Prime to build and provide facilities management for doctors' surgeries and other primary care units in Birmingham and Solihull.
The deal is worth £80m over the first five years of a potential 20-year partnership.
